Strengthening the regulatory capacity of Water and Power’s Dams and Barrages Safety Council
M/s Indus Associated Consultants (Pvt.) Ltd. was awarded the subject project by Federal Flood Commission Ministry of Water and Power. The objective of consultancy services was to update the technical capacity and strengthen the regulatory capacity of existing dams and barrages safety council according to modern techniques, instrumentation, training to staff, review of design and different measures for enhancing its regulatory capacity.
Scope of Work
Following was the scope of work for the subject assignment:
- Management Frame Work for Dam Safety Assurance
- Design and carry out Local Workshop
- Development of Registry and Information Management system
- Formulation of Regulatory Approach Framework and Programme
- Improvement in Technical Capacity of Dams and Barrages Safety Council.
