Sindh Water Sector Improvement Project Phase-I — Consultancy services for preparation of Regional Plan for the Left Bank of Indus Delta and Coastal Zone

M/s Indus Associated Consultants in joint venture with International consultancy firm was awarded the subject project for preparation of regional plan for the left bank of Indus Delta and Coastal Zone.

The objective of consultancy services was to prepare a regional master plan for the LBOD Indus Delta and Coastal Zone for addressing the flooding issues and providing proper drainage to the area on the left bank of the Indus River through appropriate structural and non-structural measures, including remedial measures for any outstanding deficiencies in the Left Bank Outfall Drainage System, measures for retention and safe disposal of drainage, storm and flood water, improvement of wetlands in the delta area and in the coastal zone recognizing their environmental importance and considerable economic potential for the local communities.

Scope of Work

Following was the scope of work for the subject assignment:

  1. Preparation of Regional Plan for the LBOD Indus Delta and Coastal Zone
  2. Updation of detailed Feasibility Study
  3. BOQs, Engineer Drawings and Design Reports.
