Consultancy Services for Construction Supervision of Improvement & Rehabilitation of Balkassar – Mianwali (N-130) & Mianwali – Muzaffargarh (N-135) roads Project
M/s Indus Associated Consultants in a joint venture with other consultancy firms was awarded the project by the National Highway Authority (NHA) through an open bidding for the construction supervision of the Improvement & Rehabilitation of Balkassar-Mianwali (N-130) and Mianwali-Muzaffargarh (N-135) roads.
These roads were federalized by the Government of Pakistan in 2019 for upgrade and rehabilitation to enhance commuter convenience. Consequently, NHA was tasked with the project under its Road Maintenance Account (RMA) and Government of Pakistan (GoP) funding, assuming control of the roads from the Punjab Highway Department in May 2020.
Scope of Work
Following is the scope of work for the subject assignment:
- Construction Supervision
In construction supervision, the supervision team of M/s IAC is supervising the work of contractor as per design drawings, work schedule, quality control of materials in field and laboratory tests as per NHA specifications.
