Responsibilities:
RE will be responsible for construction supervision of the road and ensuring that the project is implemented in accordance specification and approved drawings. RE will be responsible for construction supervision and review and approval of contractor’s bills. The main responsibilities of the position will include but not limited to the following:
- Inspect the site and collect the condition data for the design review and necessary changes if any.
- Provide details about existing pavement, damages and assessment.
- Approval of contractor’s work program, method statements, material sources, etc.
- Preparing and issuing reports as defined subsequently.
- Review and recommend approval and/or issuing working drawings, approval of the setting out of the works, and instruction to the contractor.
- Taking measurements and keep measurement records.
- Maintaining records, correspondence, and diaries.
- Certifying work volume and recommending interim certificates for progress payments.
- To proceed & implement the project as per specifications & Contracts.
Qualification: B.Sc. (Civil Engineering) preferably M.Sc. (Highway / Transportation Engineering).
General Exp: 10 – 15 years
Relevant Exp: Proven 08-10 years of relevant experience including experience as a Resident Engineer.
