Consultancy services for construction supervision of remedial measures to Control water logging due to Muzaffargarh & P Link Canal
M/s Indus Associated Consultants (Pvt.) Ltd. in joint venture with M/s Barqaab Consultants were appointed the Supervisory Consultants for the subject project.
WAPDA SCARP project was launched in the year 1969 with horizontal and vertical drainage system for providing relief to the area from water logging menace due to seepage from Muzaffargarh canal. Due to deferred maintenance and the paucity of funds, the drainage system deteriorated and became in effective.
As a result, Wapda launched the project of lining of Muzaffargarh canal for which feasibility study was already conducted by Punjab Irrigation Department, where in concrete lining of canal was recommended.
